Masooma Ibrahimi

Masooma Ibrahimi is Founder of Arastoo Film. She has MBA degree from Islamic Azad university and has over a decade of professional experience in media, especially in scriptwriting. Masooma received training in Film Making and Leadership in Afghanistan, Ireland and the United States of America.

Up until now she has produced one long documentary film called “Mother of this land”, and two short films “In Circle” and “Arastoo” which has awarded and screened in many national and international film festivals.
Her latest film is called “Kabul Girls” which is a feature film and coproduced with Massod Eslami.

Masooma Has been Board Member of Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AWCCI) since 2017 till 2021 where she has supported female entrepreneurs to be self-sufficient and to actively contribute to the national economy.

Masood Eslami

Sayed Masood Eslami is Operation Manager of Arastoo Film. He has received training on Filmmaking in Iran, South Korea and Pakistan. Masood has over a decade of professional experience in Filmmaking.

Up until now, he has directed two TV Series “Roya” and “Soldier”, and produced several short films and documentaries such as Swap, SMS, Taqi Afghan Rocker, Maze, Home in Not Safe and Covid 19. His work has been awarded and screened in many national and international Film Festivals.

Masood has worked with many international filmmaking teams and Organizations as Assistant Director and Production Manager. He has trained directing and videography to more than 300 people in different provinces of Afghanistan.His latest work is a feature film coproduce with Masooma Ibrahimi.
